Gladys Lewis Keahey

KEAHEY, GLADYS LEWIS Gladys Lewis Keahey, age 92 of Waco died Sunday, October 19, 2003 at a local nursing facility. A private service for family and friends was held on Wednesday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey with the Rev. Monsignor Mark Deering officiating. Mrs. Keahey was born on March 21, 1911 in Waco. She attended Waco schools and graduated from Waco High in 1928. She married her high school sweetheart Thomas Hugh Keahey on October 6, 1936 at St. John’s United Methodist Church. Her husband preceded her in death in 1991. Survivors include sons, Kent Keahey of Waco and Bruce Keahey of Lakewood, Colorado, sister, Lucile Lewis Naudain, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family has designated for memorials, Providence Foundation, P. O. Box 2589, Waco, Texas 76702-2589.
