Glenda Lou Kornegay Bullard January 18, 1940 - December 6, 2015 Glenda Lou Kornegay Bullard of Waco passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, surrounded by her family. Services will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Dr. Craig Klempnauer and Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 9, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Glenda was born January 18, 1940, near Mart, TX to Olin and Donnie Kornegay. She worked as a bookkeeper for Sears & Roebuck, Pure Milk and Allied Tire Co. before retiring. She then spent many joyful years caring for children in her home. Glenda was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church, where she served unselfishly in a variety of ways for over thirty years. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Donald Kornegay; and two grandsons, Chaz and Codi Bullard. She is survived by her husband, Ben Bullard, of Waco; sons, Terry Rawls of Waco, Leighton Bullard of Taylor, and Jon Bullard of Baytown, two daughters, Kerri (Missy) Jolliff of Waco and Carole McClung of Dallas; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Kornegay and wife, Ginger, of China Spring; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are grandsons, Markum, Jesse and Garett Rawls, great-grandson, Colton Rawls, nephew, Billy Kornegay and great- nephew, Camron Mills. Honorary pallbearers are David Jolliff, Britt McClung and Robert Mills. Memorials may be made to Grace Temple Baptist Church or N/W Waco Gideon’s Camp.
