Glenna Garrett Smith August 28, 1926 - March 2, 2013 Glenna Fleurette "Peggy" Garrett Smith of Waco passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013. Graveside services for family and friends will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, at Crawford Cemetery with the Rev. Elizabeth Gresham Reeves officiating. Beginning at noon Wednesday, March 6, she will be in state at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Peggy was born August 28, 1926, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Glenn and Fleurette Garrett. She was a gifted and talented artist, and was a founding member of the Central Texas Watercolor Society. Peggy was a member of Lakewood Christian Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Brett Walter Smith. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Edward L. Smith of Waco; and son, Glenn Edward Smith of Houston, TX.
