Gloria D. Ramos

Gloria D. Ramos passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022. A celebration of life will be 6:00 pm-8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home.

Gloria was born April 15, 1949, in Elsa, Texas, to Apolonio and Catarina de los Santos. During her adolescence, she was a talented basketball player for Speegleville ISD. She worked and retired from Caritas serving several roles during her tenure. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, watching horror movies, listening to Spanish music, dancing, going out to eat, and finding great deals while shopping. She was a faithful follower of God who prayed daily for her loved ones. Gloria was a selfless individual who gave of herself to anyone in need. The love for her children was unconditional; she will be missed tremendously. She leaves behind a great legacy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony Ramos; and sister, Catarina Gonzalez.

She is survived by her children, Pete Gonzales, and wife Margaret; Jesse Gonzales; Vincent Ramos, and wife Geneva; Johnny Ramos; Adam Ramos; Mariana Ompad; Antonio Guevara, and wife Adriana; and Mario Guevara, and wife Karla; her grandchildren, Christopher, Chris, Lorenzo, Adam Jr., Erin, Joseph Jr., Cynthia, Angelica, Jackie, Jacob, Damion, Darion, Alexis, Little Johnny, Olivia, and Ezekiel; and numerous great grandchildren.
