BUSBY, GRETTA Gretta Love Warren Busby, 86 of Waco, died Sunday, January 30, 2005. Services will be at 11:30am Wednesday, February 2 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Roy Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation with the family was from 6-8pm Tuesday, February 1 at the funeral home. Mrs. Busby was born March 23, 1918 in Lorena, Texas. She attended schools in Riesel, Texas. On October 11, 1935 she married Carl Clifton Busby. She was a homemaker for many years, and was later employed by Midway I.S.D. in the cafeteria during the mid 1970’s. She was a longtime member of New Hope Baptist Church, and later transferred her membership to First Baptist Church of Hewitt. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl. Survivors include son, Don Busby and wife, Connie of Belton; grandchildren, Keith Busby and wife, Melissa and Ken Busby and wife, Joan all of Austin; great grandchild, Tatum Busby of Austin; sister, Margaret Bates of Bellmead; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Busby, Roger Busby, Edwin Bates, Charles Lunday, Ronnie Baer, Joe McElroy, and Clyde Busby.
