HUDSON, H. L., JR. H. L. Hudson, Jr., 79 of Waco, died Saturday, December 25, 2004 at a local hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Tuesday, December 28 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Angelo Bertini officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North. After burial the family will be at the residence. Mr. Hudson was born in Walnut Springs, Texas August 16, 1925 to Henry Lee Hudson, Sr. and Ruby Mae Culpepper Hudson. As a young man he worked for Katy Railroad alongside his Dad. In later years he owned H & H Painting. He retired from National Group. He was a 32nd degree Mason. Daddy was very honest, dependable, worked hard to provide for his family and was proud of each job completed as he always gave his best. He was polite to all and always a gentleman. He loved to discuss history and talk politics. We are very proud of him and it was a blessing to have been his children. We will love him always. Survivors include daughter, Patricia Johnson and husband, Barry; sons, Henry Lee Hudson, III and wife, Kay and Timothy Joseph Hudson and wife, Yvonne all of Waco; sister, Ann Ramsey of Bryan; friend, Louise Kwasnica of Waco; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and many friends.
