Harold Douglas Ginsburg

GINSBURG, HAROLD Harold Douglas Ginsburg, age 87 died on Tuesday, March 18, 2003. Services will be held at Temple Rodef Sholom at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 19 with Rabbi Seth Stander officiating. Burial will follow at Rodef Sholom Cemetery. Mr. Ginsburg was born in Waco on January 14, 1916. He attended Waco schools and was a graduate of Waco High School and Four C Business College. He married Ethel Harris on September 1, 1940 and she preceded him in death on December 21, 1993. Mr. Ginsburg married Martha Patton on March 25, 1995 in Waco. He served in World War II in the Army Air Corps. Mr. Ginsburg was a member of Fidelis Masonic Lodge 1127 and the Karem Shrine Marching Patrol. He was a member of B’Nai B’Rith and past president of Temple Rodof Sholom. He was also a member of the Cabaret Dance Club. Mr. Ginsburg was the owner of New York Clothiers and worked there for 73 years. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Irving Ginsburg. Survivors include daughters, Lorraine Davis and husband, John of Austin and Anne Dilworth and husband, Jeff of Austin; sons, Stanley Ginsburg and wife, Elaine of Waco and Brian Ginsburg and wife, Janet of Waco; grandchildren, Chris Davis and wife, Cindy of Austin, Craig Davis of Los Angeles, Daniel, Jessica, and Sarah Dilworth of Austin, Andrew Ginsburg of Houston, Adam Ginsburg of Waco, Amy Ginsburg of Dallas, Ivy and Ross Ginsburg of Waco, and great grandchildren, Grace and Emma Davis of Austin.
