Harold Ronald Kelly September 10, 1924 - July 9, 2008 Harold R. Kelly of Waco passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008. Graveside services will be 9:00 a.m. Saturday, July 12 at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Fisher officiating. The family encourages cool, comforable attire at the cemetery, because of the summer heat. Visitation will be from 4- 5:30 p.m. Friday, July 11, in the Garden Room at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Harold was born September 10, 1924 in Waco to Cicero C. and Belle Kelly. He was a graduate of Waco High School and attended Baylor University. He and the former Peggy Ruth Stewart were married April 10, 1954. She predeceased him on February 12, 2006. He worked at Brown Freight and Rocketdyne. He then began his real estate career with Ed Ware Real Estate Co. In the mid 70's he founded The Kelly Company located on West Waco Drive. He was proud to be a Rotarian, a Mason and a member of the Waco Association of Realtors. Harold was a longtime member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church. Harold won many chili cookoff awards over the years. After qualifying, he cooked in the World Chili Cookoff at Terlingua, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents; and five siblings. He is survived by his sons, Stewart R. Kelly and wife, Tracy and Trammell R. Kelly and wife, Mollie of Waco, TX; grandchildren, Ryan Kelly, Ragan Kelly, Jackson Kelly, Paige Kelly, McKenzie Kelly and Abby Parmer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be made to St. Alban's Episcopal Church or the charity of your choice.
