Spring, Harry Harry Spring, 91, passed away Monday, May 16, 2005 at a local nursing home. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 18 from 4 to 7:00 PM and a Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 PM at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque. Mr. Spring was born December 7, 1913 in Chicago, Illinois to Elizabeth & Louis Spring. An only child, he attended school in Chicago. He served in the U. S. Army Signal Corp and was a veteran of WWII. He was a long term employee of International Harvester as a Cost Analyst and was a die-hard Chicago sports fan. He married Elsie Harvey on June 12, 1937 in Chicago. They were married 57 years. After retiring, he enjoyed traveling, bowling, a good poker or pinochle game with friends and worked out in the gym regularly into his late 80’s. He was preceded in death by his parents. His wife Elsie passed away in February of 1995. He is survived by two daughters, Lori Chipman and husband Larry of Waco and Susan Spring of Cary, North Carolina; grandchildren, Gary Chipman and wife Jeri, Dennis Chipman and wife Sheri, Daniel Chipman & Brandi and his cat Cleo.
