Hazel Wetzel January 2, 1914 - May 19, 2008 Hazel Wetzel of Waco went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 19, 2008. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. She lived and attended Waco schools. She and Carlton Oliver Wetzel married on December 22, 1934 and together they had two daughters. Hazel worked 30 years and retired from the V. A. Hospital. She was a member of the Third Street Baptist Church and had many friends she loved so very much. She was loved by many, a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt and devoted friend and will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton; and son-in-law, David O'Malley. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Veselka and husband, Ronnie of Aquilla; and Nancy O'Malley of Waco; grandchildren, Jennifer and Michael Varga, Jeremy and Carol Veselka, Jonathan and Denise O'Malley, James O'Malley, Elizabeth O'Malley; four great grandchildren, Seth and Noah Varga and Regan and Landon Veselka. Pallbearers are Jeremy Veselka, Jonathan O'Malley, James O'Malley, Michael, Seth and Noah Varga.
