Helen Ach Moore December 2, 1914 – September 18, 2006 Helen Ach Moore, 91, died Monday, September 18, 2006 in Houston TX. Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Friday, September 22 at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 3:00 to 4:30 pm Thursday, September 21 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque. Helen was born December 2, 1914 in Montana, WV. She came to Waco in 1947 with her husband Ray Moore, who was employed at Owens Illinois Glass Company. She had lived in Waco twice from 1947 to 1968 and from 1990 to 2001. Helen was a homemaker and a life time member of the Providence Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. She volunteered many years in the Providence Hospital Gift Shop, from 1948-1968 and 1990-2001. From 1968 to 1990 she lived in New Orleans, LA and volunteered in the gift shop at Methodist Hospital. From 2001-2004, she volunteered at the Sewing Group of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church in Houston, TX. Helen was a member of First United Methodist Church in Waco and Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church of Houston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Moore. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Cordell and her husband, Jim of Houston and her sister, Rose Poe of Fairmont, WV and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkway Place, Harbor Resident Enrichment Fund in memory of Helen Moore, 1321 Park Bayou Dr., Houston, Texas 77077, 281-556-9200.
