Helen Keller Stone

Helen Keller Stone of Waco passed away Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Wesley Woods Alzheimer's Care Center. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Helen was born April 24, 1929 in Lorena to Carl and Lydia Keller. Helen was educated at Milby High School, Houston, and graduated from the National School of Business in Waco. She worked at Lowe's South Central Credit and Real Estate. Helen was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents. Helen is survived by her husband, Odie C. “O.C.” Stone; step-daughters, Joy Denise Rockwood and husband, John; Kim Lorraine Smith, Lori Ann Aronson, and Christa Blenck; and stepson, Alec Aronson, all of Phoenix, Arizona; also special family John and Eunice Linda, John and Carol Linda, and Bradley and Matthew Linda. The family would like to thank all the caring, loving and wonderful caregivers and staff at the Wesley Woods Alzheimer’s Care Center and Providence Hospice.
