Helen Smith Parrish August 17, 1922 - February 10, 2014 Helen Smith Parrish of Waco passed away peacefully Monday, February 10, 2014, with her grandsons by her side. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the graveside service at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 13, at the Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum, 6623 South Interstate Hwy 35, Waco TX 76706, 254662-1051. Born Aug. 17, 1922, in Fort Worth, Texas, she was the loving daughter of the late Robert Lee Smith and the late Bertha Copeland Smith; loving sister to the late Frank Smith and late Mary Ruth Smith; loving wife of the late Julian Ross Parrish; loving mother of the late J. Ross Parrish II and wife, Jackie. She was the loving grandmother of Ross A. Parrish and wife, Alexis, Ryan J. Parrish and wife, Melissa, and Stephen L. Parrish and wife, Caroline; and proud, loving great grandmother of Broch, Peyton, Claire, Addison, Adeline, Tate, and Isabelle. Her sense of humor, sweet and caring demeanor, and optimistic vigor for more than 91 years of life served as an inspiration to all of her friends and family. Her family would like to thank her friends and those medical professionals who brought so much joy and care to her.
