Henry P. Bloomer III passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021. A Memorial Service will be 11:00 am, Friday, February 12, 2021, at First Methodist Downtown Campus. Henry was born January 25, 1943, in Oak Park, Illinois, to Henry and Roselyn Bloomer. Henry was educated at Texas A&M University and went on to work at Hal Stringer & Assoc, before opening Archiscape with Bernard Ott. He was a sailing and auto enthusiast who was well studied in history, art, music, and model building. He was fond of cats as well as an avid Scouting enthusiast. He took great pride in his involvement with his church community and childrens’ accomplishments. Hank loved to share his endless wealth of knowledge with any and everyone who would listen. He was preceded in death by his parents; He is survived by his wife, D. Kay King, his three children, HP Bloomer IV, Kirsten Bloomer, and Geoffrey Bloomer as well as his brother Daniel and wife Linda Bloomer; nephew Jonathan and wife Dora Bloomer: great niece Mia and great nephew Justin Bloomer; and great-great nieces and nephews; uncle William Bellisle, Walter “Bim” and wife Donna Bellisle; cousins Jan and wife Kate Bloomer, Jill Bloomer; close friends Charles Janeck, David Mosely, and Bernard Ott and Karl Mulling; as well as his beloved cat Phrelix.
