Homer W. Corky Lockridge February 8, 1923 - April 3, 2009 Homer W. Corky Lockridge of Waco passed away Friday, April 3, 2009. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Bert Mercer officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2009 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Corky was born February 8, 1923 in Marion County, Indiana to Luther and Pearl Lockridge. He graduated from High School and moved to Texas during the war and was stationed at Ft. Hood. Corky married Virginia Roberts on July 17, 1947 and she preceded him in death in September 2008. He was a longtime member of Waco Masonic Lodge #92, a 32nd degree mason and a member of the Scottish Rite and Past Potentate of the Karem Shrine of Waco in 1997. He also was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star Chapter #7. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Friedli and husband Dick; and his two grandsons, Kurt Andrew Friedli and Richard F. Friedli, II Pallbearers are members of the Karem Shrine of Waco. Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Karem Shrine Legion of Honor.
