HOWARD GRASTON Johnnie Howard Graston, 92, of Clarendon, Texas formerly of Waco, died Thursday, January 10, 2002 in Clarendon. Services, with military honors, will be held at 2:00p.m. Tuesday, January 15th at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. Visitation will be held 6:00pm-8:00pm, Monday, January 14th at WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mr. Graston was born April 24, 1909 in Waxahachie, Texas. He married Louise Ledbetter on January 21, 1942 in Waxahachie. He served in the Army from 1942 to 1945 and was stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky. After his discharge, he moved to Waco and began work at General Tire. He retired in 1973 after working there 27 years. He was a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church in Waco. Mr. Graston was preceded in death by his wife Louise in 1991. Survivors: son, Robert H. Graston of Waco; daughter, Martha Clark & husband Robert of Memphis, Texas; 2 sisters, Martha Lucille Weibe of Houston & Isabelle Corley of Waco; & a grandson, Wes Bolin of Waco.
