Ila Mae Coleman

COLEMAN, ILA MAE Ila Mae Coleman, age 91 of Waco passed away Monday, January 26, 2004 at a local nursing home. Services will be held at 11am Wednesday, January 28 at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Ben Disney officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North. Miss Coleman was born February 25, 1912 in Loco, Oklahoma and was reared and educated in Eastland, Texas. She moved to Waco in 1942. She was in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1946 being stationed in San Diego, California. After returning to Waco, she worked for Central Texas Iron Works from 1958 until her retirement. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Survivors include sister, Maxine Flynn of Waco; sister-in-law, Mary Coleman of Jackson, Mississippi and many nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers are M. A. Horton, Kent Hering and members of Fellowship Sunday School Class. Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church or favorite charity.
