Ime Hanus

HANUS, IME Ime Hanus was called home on February 28, 2005 at the age of 15. A celebration of his life will be held at 3:30 pm, Thursday, March 3 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Coach Johnny Tusa officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5-7 pm Wednesday, March 2, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey funeral home. Ime Hanus was born November 2, 1989 in Waco, Texas. He is the beloved son of Elizabeth Hanus and Nelson Bell, both of Waco. Ime was an honor student at Waco High School. He played and enjoyed football, power lifting, and track. He had a good heart and lots of hugs to give. He and his great big smile will be missed by everyone. Survivors include both parents; grandparents, Dan and Louise Hanus of Lorena; grandmother, Toby Chandler of Wortham; brother, Kenneth Channell and wife Donna of McKinney; niece, Kemarnika Young; nephews, Kendeus, Kenny and Kiante’ Channell; Aunt Melanie and Uncle Dennis Ferguson of Waco, and a host of cousins and other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that money be donated to the Waco High Athletic Association.
