Imogene Ray September 15, 1921 - November 1, 2006 Imogene Dockery Ray of Waco went to her heavenly home Wednesday, November 1, 2006 surrounded by family. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 4, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey with Pastor John Wachsmann of Church on the Rock officiating. Burial will follow at Pattison Cemetery in Emhouse, Texas at 3:00 Saturday. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m.Friday, November 3, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Imogene was born September 15, 1921 in Corbett, TX to Isaac Luther Dockery and Edith Dockery. Imogene was educated at Emhouse High School. She worked as a beautician and was a master seamstress. She created many lovely banners for Church on the Rock as well as countless outfits for her beloved children and grandchildren. Imogene was a long-time member of Church on the Rock in Waco. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ, creating various beautiful crafts, painting porcelain dolls and dishes, and spending time cooking and being with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Isaac Luther Dockery; mother, Edith Chapman Dockery; husband of 63 years, Alvie Royce Ray; son, Bobby Ray; and six brothers and sisters. She is survived by daughters, Suzanne Parrish and husband, Michael and Robin Donaldson and husband, Curt all of China Spring, Texas. Additional survivors include grandchildren, Robert and Beth Parrish of Spring, TX; Kimberly and Bubba Galvan of Waco, TX; Christopher Donaldson and Megan Richardson of Waco, TX; Benjamin Donaldson of China Spring, TX as well as great-grandchildren Samantha and Bobby Parrish, Isabella and Grace Galvan, Caine and Cy Donaldson and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are her sons and grandsons: Michael Parrish, Curt Donaldson, Robert Parrish, Christopher Donaldson, Benjamin Donaldson, and Bubba Galvan. Memorial donations may be made to Church on the Rock on N. 19th St. in Waco or the Alzheimer’s Association.
