Isaac F. Bay September 24, 1909–March 22, 2006 Isaac F. Bay, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at St. Catherine’s Center in Waco, Texas. A memorial service will be at 11:30 am Saturday, March 25 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. “Bay” was born September 24, 1909 in Coryell County, Texas to William and Maude Terry Bay. After graduating from high school in Killeen, Texas, he graduated from Tarleton State College. Bay married Mildred Johnston on June 12, 1931. They lived in Brownwood, Texas where he was General Manager of Arrow Coach Line and owner of Green Guide Bus magazine. After retirement, he was a stockbroker with Schneider, Bernet and Hickman. He was active in civic, state and national organizations and was President of the National Bus Association and a member of the Texas Industrial Commission from 1965 – 1971. In Brownwood, he was President of the Chamber of Commerce, Vice President of the school board, President of the Rotary Club and a member of the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite. He was an avid bridge player, having attained Life Master. Bay was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church and the Waco Family YMCA. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred, of 55 years; grandson, Mark Hall; sister, Ruth Thomas and brother, Arvy Bay. Bay is survived by two daughters and their husbands: Sandra and Hal Hall and Sarilyn and Bill Black; grandchildren: David and Christy Hall, Leslie and Stuart Bell, Paige and Leo Grumulaitis and Amy and Dan Treier; five great grandchildren; brothers, Darel Bay and wife, Ruby and Vertis Bay; sisters, Oneta Hale and husband, Bill and Ruby Graham and numerous nieces and nephews.
