Isabel Deleon Moreno

Isabel DeLeon Moreno, 87, passed away on July 12, 2024 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Hillcrest Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 24th, at 9:30AM at St. Louis Catholic Church with Father David Trahan officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 6:00pm on Tuesday, July 23rd, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Deacon Joseph Kudra officiating.

Isabel was born on November 19th, 1937 in Highbank, Texas to Emilia DeLeon and Cresencio Moreno and spent the majority of his life in Waco. He attended South Junior School, and graduated from Texas State Technical Institute’s auto mechanical program. He spent his working life as a Building Custodian and Carpenter. He was an active member of St. Louis Catholic Church.

Isabel is preceded by his mother, father, and sisters, Janie DeLeon Moreno and Carmen DeLeon Moreno. He is survived by his brothers, Jose DeLeon Moreno and Gabriel DeLeon Moreno, his sister, Rosario Moreno Beitia, as well as several other family members and friends.
