BAIN, IVA Iva Bain, formerly of Waco, died Monday, October 20, 2003 in Houston. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Saturday, October 25 at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Jimmie Johnson officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Friday, October 24 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Iva was born August 2, 1903. She graduated from Waco High School, attended Baylor and Toby’s Business College and worked for W. F. Barnes Lumber Co. for many years. She was a life member of First Presbyterian Church and a member of Ch. #7 Eastern Star. Survivors include nephew, James Bob Bain of Friendswood, two great nieces, three great great nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Waco or favorite charity.
