J. T. Faulkner

FAULKNER, J. T. J. T. Faulkner, age 87, died Thursday, February 28, 2002 at a local nursing home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM Monday, March 4 at Toliver Cemetery near Hamilton with Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mr. Faulkner was born December 24, 1914 in Lamkin, Texas. He married Ruth Morrison December 24, 1937 in Lamkin. They owned and operated Ruth’s Flower Shop on N. 19th St. in Waco for many years. They were long time residents of the Bosqueville Community. Ruth preceded him in death January 26, 2002. He was a musician, in the band, R & B Crooners and an avid toy train collector. He was also preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ethel Faulkner; daughter, Joan Faulkner; and sisters, Betty Jo Tubb and Tina Drake. Survivors include sister, Hazel Noble of Burnet; brother, Carroll Bocky Faulkner of Fort Worth; brothers-in-law, D. Drake also of Fort Worth and Curly Tubb of Sulphur Springs and numerous nieces and nephews. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
