Jack M. Dunn September 4, 1932 - October 29, 2007 Jack M. Dunn of Woodway passed away Monday, October 29, 2007 at his home. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, at Columbus Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Durham officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, November 1, at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Garden Room. Jack was born September 4, 1932 in Cross Plains, TX. He graduated from Abilene High School. Jack served in the National Guard, 36th Infantry Division, 3rd Battalion 142nd Infantry Regiment. He owned and operated Country Squire Homes from 1962 to 1993, developing subdivisions and building fine custom homes in Woodway, Waco and surrounding areas. He was member of the Homebuilders Association, Heart of Texas Apartment Association and served on the Board of Directors of Central National Bank. He was a member and usher at Columbus Avenue Baptist Church in Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents, G. S. and Vada Leon Dunn. He is survived by his loving wife, Connie Dunn of Woodway; children, Gary Dunn and wife, Debbie; Larry Dunn and wife, Kathryn; Leann Dunn; Kelly Townsend and husband, Mike; Debbie Rivera and husband, Charlie; Joey Davis and wife, Cindy; a brother, Billy Bob Dunn and wife, Barbara; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, “George and Annie”. Pallbearers are Jim Stewart, Artie Giotes, John Sheehy, Jr., Bill Russell, Gaylan Turner amd Larry Turner. Honorary pallbearers are James Austin, Tom Collins, Lynn Booth, Larry Sharp, Budge Kimbell and Billy Sanders. Memorials may be made to Providence Hospice.
