SOBEL, JACOB AARON Jacob Aaron Sobel, age 18 of Crawford, died Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 1:30pm Friday, November 28 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rabbi Seth Stander officiating. Burial will follow at Rodef Sholom Cemetery. Jacob was born February 16, 1985 in Waco. He attended schools in China Spring and Midway. He was employed at American Eagle at the Richland Mall. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry Sobel, and great grandmothers, Eva Sobel and Kate Kahan. Survivors include mother and stepfather, Vicki and Stephen Menard of Crawford, father, Michael William Sobel of Cozumel, Mexico, grandparents, Evelyn Daniel of Waxahachie, Ray Daniel of Gautier, Mississippi, Abby Sobel of Waco, John Menard of Waco and Nancy Menard of Hillsboro, sisters, Jennifer Sobel and Sarah Sobel both of Crawford, half brothers, Zachary Sobel, William Sobel, Noah Sobel all of Round Rock, step sister, Caitlin Menard of Abbott, step brother, John Menard of Abbott, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Pallbearers will be Jamie Vela, John Adam Pack, Jamey Holland, Joey McKeown, Travis Clark, Willie Melina, and Derrick Houck.
