James Chapoton "Chappy" Gresham, Jr. July 20, 1964 - July 4, 2012 Chappy Gresham passed away suddenly but peacefully, Wednesday, July 4, 2012. A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 13, at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit. Chappy was born July 20, 1964 in Ft. Worth, Texas, at the Edna Gladney Home, to adoptive parents, Mary and James Gresham. He graduated from Richfield High School in 1982. He worked for Hewitt Aluminum Company during high school and continued there while going to T.S.T.C., until he bought the company from Craig Graf. He eventually moved to San Antonio where he met his wife, Joanie Myer. Unfortunately, she died from diabetes shortly after they married. Afterwards, Chappy suffered many "ups and downs" and ended up living in Dallas, where he died. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Gresham; his wife, Joanie; and both sets of grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Mary Gresham; sister, Lee Ann Priebe; niece, Courtney Priebe; nephew, David Priebe; Uncle Joe Mac Gresham and wife, Diane; Uncle Bill Ward and wife, Dianne; and numerous other relatives .
