James David Scott, Sr. May 2, 1937 - July 29, 2011 James David Scott, Sr. of Robinson passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 at Hillcrest Hospital. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2011 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Ivan Ker and Rev. Scott Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery . Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. James was born May 2, 1937 in Waco, to Harry and Frances Scott. James was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. He was a strong but kind and loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing golf. He will be remembered by many as a generous, helpful friend with a keen sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Payne Scott and parents, Harry T. and Frances Scott. He is survived by one son, Rev. James David Scott, Jr., Wiley, TX; one daughter, Denise Castilleja and husband Julian, Rowlett, TX; granddaughters, Savannah and Bianca Castilleja; one sister, June Scott Rhodes and husband Cecil, Meadows Place, TX and their two children, Kerry Rhodes and Scott Rhodes and wife Kris and sons Jonathan and Jeremiah. Pallbearers are Cliff Wallstein, Robby Sullivan, Raymond Warren, Shorty Stone, Donald Behringer, and Jack Schwan.
