Kip began his coaching career at Lake Dallas, Texas, in 1980. Following his first job, he moved on to teach and coach at Strickland Middle School in Denton, Texas, and Denton High School. Kip paused his coaching career to pursue seminary at SMU Perkins school of Theology as well as Brite Divinity School at TCU. He then took a job as the youth minister at Whaley United Methodist Church in Gainesville, Texas, Although Kip’s faith has always been in the forefront of his life, he knew his true calling was to return to coaching and teaching. Throughout his years teaching, coaching, and faithfully ministering we know he helped mentor and guide students along their life journey.
