James Roy Robert February 1, 1923 - July 25, 2007 James Roy Robert of Waco passed into the next life to be with his Lord and Savior early Wednesday morning, July 25, 2007 after a long illness. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Bill Austin officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 27, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. James Roy was born February 1, 1923 in Bosqueville, TX to William Benjamin and Clintie B. Robert. He attended Bosqueville School and worked for Nabisco for 42 years. He was a WWII veteran. He and Cleo Lasseter were married on April 5, 1946 and shared 43 years together. In 1995 he married Billie Ruth Tandy. He was preceded in death by his first wife, six brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Billie Ruth Robert; son, James Roy Robert, Jr and wife, Denise; daughters, Patricia Roberts; Connie Obr and husband, John; Debbie Bonner and husband, Tom; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
