James Wesley Lynn November 9, 1928 - April 10, 2007 James Wesley Lynn passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2007. Military graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2007 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Killeen, TX. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 12, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. James was born November 9, 1928 in Purcell, OK to James Enoch and Bessie Lee Lynn. His public school days were in Purcell, OK and later attending the University of Oklahoma in Norman. Joining the U.S. Army in 1946 and he served in Europe and South East Asia. He married Joy Beatrice Keeler, on December 14, 1950 in Petaluma, CA. He retired with combined credits of 31 plus years of active and reserve duty. His retirement years were spent ranching, researching family genealogy, and visiting via the internet with his ASA comrades in arms. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Leonard Edward Lynn and sister, Bessie Laverne Lynn. He is survived by his wife, Joy Lynn of McGregor; sons, James Anthony Lynn of Waco and Jerry Wesley Lynn of Addison, TX; grandson, James Christian Lynn and wife, Kimberly; granddaughters, Candice Holly Lynn, and Brandice Heather Lynn Fonville and husband, Joseph William; mother of grandchildren, Claudia Stafford Lynn; brother, Melvin Eric Lynn and wife, Barbara; and sister, Gwenneth Corine Carr and husband, Paul; and beloved Rambo.
