Jamey Marie Robertson Nelson Boettcher, 54, passed away with peace and grace on June 3, 2017, surrounded by her family from a two-year battle with melanoma. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 8, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Jamey was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to her loved ones. She graduated from Katy High School in 1980 and went on to become an executive assistant in the healthcare field. Jamey was proceeded in death by her daughter, Bailey Nelson; and father, Gilliam James Robertson. She is survived by her mother, Betty Jean Robertson; husband, James W. Boettcher; son, Cody Michael Nelson; daughter, Cassidy Noelle Nelson; stepsons, Shannon Boettcher and Christian Boettcher; brother, Gilliam Patrick Robertson; sister and brother-in-law, Tari and John Cox; nephews, Tyler Cox and James Cox; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Pallbearers will be Chris Jackson, Stevie Jackson, Nick Jackson, Jayce Seay, Josh Spivey, and Kody Hall. The family is very grateful to the wonderful, caring staff of Houston Hospice.
