STICKLE, JANE C. Jane C. Stickle, age 96, of Eddy passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 1pm Saturday, December 20 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Stork officiating. Ms. Stickle was born in Denver, Colorado December 1, 1907 to DeLoss and Beatrice Skipping Childs. She was raised in Waco and attended Waco schools. She was a graduate of Waco High School and had lived in the Waco area all of her life. She married Riley Stickle October 20, 1930. She retired from Richards Equipment and was an active member of ABWA. For many years she was an active member of the Alter Guild at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. She was a member of Bruceville-Eddy Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, two brothers, Alfred Childs and DeLoss Childs, and a sister, Beatrice Mullen. Survivors include daughter, Jane Harding and husband, L. D. of Eddy; grandsons, Lee Harding of Temple and Kenn Harding of Waco; sister, Esther Taylor of Waco; brother-in-law, Clarence Mullen of Comfort; and numerous nieces and nephews.
