Jane Katherine Beville April 30, 1918 – June 6, 2006 Jane Katherine Beville of Waco died on June 6, 2006 at Hillcrest Hospital. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 9, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery. Jane was born in Waco on April 30, 1918, the daughter of Dr. Alexander Jacob Beville and Frances Luedde Beville. Her parents preceded her in death. Her brother, Alexander Henry Beville, died in the service of his country during World War II. She graduated from Waco High School and the University of Texas. After residing in New Orleans, she returned to Waco and was involved in real estate investments until her death. She also collected rare stamps and owned and operated Bevco Stamps, Inc. for many years. Jane was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Waco. She participated in community projects and had served as an officer of Historic Waco Foundation. She enjoyed gardening and cultivating African violets, which she shared with friends.
