Jane Mcdavid Barber

Jane McDavid Barber July 10, 1944 – November 8, 2007 Jane McDavid Barber, 63, passed away Thursday at her home in College Station. She was born July 10, 1944 in Waco, TX. to C. W. and Katrina McDavid. Funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Wilkerson-Hatch Bailey Funeral Home in Waco. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Jane graduated from Texas Tech University in 1965 with a Bachelors of Science degree in math. She was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority. Jane was a member of Christian Women’s Club in Corpus Christi and the Newcomers Club in College Station. Her home church was Austin Ave. Methodist Church in Waco. Jane is preceded in death by her son, Phillip D. Barber and her father, C. W. McDavid. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, David Barber of College Station; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Jeffrey Feirick of Pennsburg, PA.; son, Barton A. Barber of Dallas; mother, Katrina McDavid of College Station; brother and sister-in-law, William T. and Nancy McDavid of Dallas; grandsons, Thomas A. and Roderick Feirick; three nieces and one nephew.
