Janell Williams Patton February 8, 1925 - October 16, 2014 Janell Williams Patton of Waco went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 16, 2014. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 20, at Waco Memorial Park with Rev. Marvin Thompson officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 19, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Janell was born February 8, 1925, in Lorena, Texas, to Fred and Bessie Williams. She attended school in Bruceville-Eddy. During WWII, she worked at the Munitions Plant in McGregor, where she met her first husband, Willie Kyselka. They lived in Austin for several years, where their son, Freddie, was born. The family returned to Waco and owned and operated a resale shop for 25 years. Janell was active in her church, Emanuel Baptist, for over 50 years. She enjoyed her Sunday school class activities and the Senior Adult trips. Janell enjoyed the large Williams family and all the branches of the tree. Her son, Freddie, was the joy of her life. She spent many hours watching him play baseball as a child and golf later as he grew up. She loved to cook, and coconut pie was her specialty. Janell's puppies, Nicole and Missy, brought countless hours of joy to her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Willie Kyselka; second husband, Bert Patton; son, Freddie Lee Kyselka; brother, John W. Williams; and sisters, Thelma Jones, Catherine Jones and Geraldine Shirley. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Susan Flagg Kyselka of Katy; sister-in-law, Betty Williams of Tyler; nephews, Benny Jones of Waco, John W. Williams, Jr., and wife, Debra, of Nashville, Tennessee, and Jeff Williams and wife, Vickie, of Tyler; nieces, Charlotte Blaschke and husband, Jack, of Tyler, Shirley Valney and husband, John, of Reno, Nevada, and Shelia Williams Smith and husband, Walter, of Woodway; and numerous great nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers are Benny Jones, John W. Williams, Jr., Jeff Williams, Jack Blaschke and Walter Smith Jr. The family is grateful for the tender care shown by the doctors, nurses and aides at Providence Hospital and Providence Hospice Place. We will forever remember your kindness. In lieu of flowers, memorials and contributions may be made to Providence Hospice Place, 300 Hwy 6, Waco, Texas 76712.
