Janet Lee Niemeyer

February 28, 1958 — April 16, 2015

Janet Lee Niemeyer February 28, 1958 - April 16, 2015 Janet Niemeyer, a loving wife and devoted mother walked into the arms of her loving Savior on April 16, 2015. Her love of her family and faith in God was the foundation of the life she cherished so much. Her memorial service will be 2 p.m., Monday, April 20, at First Baptist Church of Hewitt with the Rev. Roy W. Marshall officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, April 19, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Janet was born to Bernhard and Bobbie Neumann in Waco, Texas, on February 28, 1958. She was a graduate of Chilton High School and a member of the Mooreville Methodist Church. Janet was an employee of Midway ISD where she was a loved member of Spring Valley Elementary faculty. She is remembered as being a loving and uplifting soul throughout the halls of the school, as well as a great educator for the many children she worked with over the years. Janet and her husband, Jesse, who were married 38 years, were blessed with a large and devoted family. Her favorite moments in life were the times they spent with their kids and grandkids. Janet and Jesse were an ever present sight at the many sporting events, school functions, and family gatherings, and it is in that place that she found her most joy. Janet is survived by her parents; her husband, Jesse, and her three children, Jessica, Jacob, and Josh. She also leaves behind her two daughters-in-law, Amanda and Stacie, her son-in-law, Randy, as well as her teenage grandchildren, Hunter and Emmalee; and her sister, Karyn. One of the bright spots in her life was her precious "littles" Trigger, Hayes, and Timber, who will miss their Gram so much. Janet loved flowers, so if you feel the need that is welcome, but in lieu of donations, the family just wants you to take a moment and hug your loved ones, spend an extra hour playing with your grandkids or give forgiveness to those in need. Life is too short, and no one knows what the plans of the Lord are. Time is very precious and our journey is only but a brief moment in the grand scheme of eternity. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in our "Memorial Guestbook" at www.WHBfamily.com.
