GARWOOD, JANICE H. Janice H. Garwood, 77 of Waco, died Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at a local hospital. Memorial services will be held at 11am Friday, January 21 at First United Methodist Church of Waco with the Rev. Stephen Ramsdell officiating. Mrs. Garwood was born May 11, 1927 in Ocean Grove, New Jersey. She moved to Aquilla, Texas in 1955, then to Waco in 1971. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She married Ralph Garwood in 1980; he preceded her in death in 1983. She was a member of Waco Kiwanis Club and was a volunteer tax preparer for AARP. Survivors include sons, Dan Scrivner and fiancé, Mary Thornton of Arlington and Randy Scrivner and wife, Judith of Waco; stepsons, Ken Garwood and wife, Lynn of Greenbay, Wisconsin and Doug Garwood and wife, Mindy of Colorado; and grandchildren, Susan, Paul, Katherine, Robert and Margaret Scrivner and Matt Garwood and Amy Garwood.
