Janie O. Bravo passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 27, at St. Francis on the Brazos Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin with Rosary at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 26, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Janie was born May 27, 1941, in Asa, Texas, to Miguel and Rumalda Orta Montoya. She was a machine operator for Woods Manufacturing, Avery Dennison for 25 years, and for Allergan from which she retired. Janie was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Nancy Gonzales and Valentine Lopez. She is survived by her husband, Ruben H Bravo; daughter, Michelle Bravo; sons, Vincent Bravo and Michael Bravo and wife, Christina; brother, Frank Montoya and wife, Mary; sisters, Tommie Rodriguez and husband, Ignacio, Mary Leos and late husband, John Joe, of McGregor, Isabel Contreras and Frank of California, and Aurelia Montoya of McGregor; grandchildren, Angelo Guerrero and wife, Cecilia, Sebastian Bravo, Miranda Palomo, Arieanna Bravo, Michaela Bravo, Michael Bravo, Jr, Tony Alvarado, Abigail Ramirez, and Danny Ramirez; and great grandchildren, Ke’Anna and Rico Gonzales. Pallbearers will be Anthony Gonzales, Angelo Guerrero, Sebastian Bravo, Tony Alvardo, Tony Orta, Mario Sustaita, Tony Garcia and Anthony Santamaria.
