Jeffrey Clark Bolt

Bolt, Jeffrey Jeffrey Clark Bolt, 49, of Waco, passed away June 6, 2005 at a local hospital. Memorial services will be Wednesday, June 8 at 4:30 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. Ed James officiating. Jeffrey was born February 14, 1956 in Waco, Texas. He graduated from Richfield High School in 1975. He received his associated degree from Law Enforcement at MCC and was Salutatorian. He worked as a cadet at the Woodway Police Department. After graduation, he worked full time obtaining the rank of Sergeant. He then worked for the Hewitt Police Department and obtained the rank of Lieutenant. During his career he was awarded many certificates of recognition. Jeff also worked as a Sheriff’s Deputy for Bosque County. His most recent job was a Park Ranger with the City of Waco. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his son. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Bolt of Waco; parents, Clark W. and Oveta Bolt of Waco; son, James Bolt of Speegleville; stepdaughter, Julie Simmon and husband Hal of Waco; sisters, Kathy Cooper and husband Charles of Waco, Patti Hoffmeyer and husband, Tim of Buda and niece, Hope Hoffmeyer of Buda.
