Jenna Meagan Maggie Kucera October 1, 1986 - June 11, 2007 Jenna Meagan Maggie Kucera of Woodway passed away Monday, June 11, 2007 at John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft. Worth. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, at St. Louis Catholic Church with the Rev. David Leibham officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Rosary will be at 6 p.m. with visitation to follow on Thursday, June 14, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Jenna was born October 1, 1986 in Waco, TX to Dennis Paul Kucera and Michelle Hadley. Jenna attended Reicher High School and graduated from Midway High School in 2005 and was attending The University of Texas at Arlington. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco. Some of her many sports activities were in cheerleading, track, softball, volleyball and basketball. She received awards in basketball, volleyball, softball, track, Waco Heat Select Basketball, National Honor Society, basketball MVP, Volleyball Athletic Achievement Award, All District TAPPS 3-4A Honorable Mention, Freshman and Sophomore Homecoming Princess, Junior Varsity Cheerleading Athletic Achievement Award and Most Improved Player in Volleyball. She also did several years of community service with Dewey Recreation Center, Bledsoe Miller and Mission Waco. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Gloria Jean Pittman and Marcella Ann Kucera. She is survived by her mother, Michelle Hadley and husband, Steve of Woodway and her father, Dennis Paul Kucera and DeAnn of Woodway; brother, Dennis D.J. Kucera Jr. of Woodway; grandfather, Max Pittman; great-grandmother, Emma Buckner; aunts, Holly Hinote, Janie Caldwell, Pat Baldry and Helen Bright; and uncles, Scott Snow and Kenneth Kucera; plus other family and dear friends and her beloved cat, Sugar Daddy. Pallbearers are Jason Lands, Lou Bright, David Baldry and Bob Caldwell, Jeffrey Ryno and Jamie Brenner. Memorials may be sent to the Waco Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
