Jerry Dixon July 20, 1931 - December 17, 2013 Jerry Dixon of Hewitt passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Providence Hospice Place. Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, December 20, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Chaplain LeAnne Ryan officiating. Burial will follow at Lorena Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Jerry was born July 20, 1931, in McGregor, to Lee and Carrie Dixon. He retired after 41 years from TU Electric. He loved and embraced life, was an avid golfer and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; his late wife, Alice Dixon; and nine brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Jean Dixon; son, Mike Dixon and wife, Sherry; daughters, Brenda Homerstad and husband, Loyd, Becky Smith and husband, Ben Atkinson; son, Marc Havis and wife, Kathy; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren; mother-in-law, Bessie Herrell; and loving dog, Foxy.
