Jerry Lemo Pilgrim, Jr. June 22, 1925 – February 24, 2006 Jerry Lemo Pilgrim, Jr., 80, of Waco, TX; went home to be with the Lord, Friday, February 24, 2006, at his residence. Services will be Sunday, February 26 at 1:30 PM at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Bosqueville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, February 25 from 4 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home, 6101 Bosque. He was born June 22, 1925 in Salado, TX to his parents, Jerry Lemo Sr. and Alma Crenshaw. He was raised in Marble Falls, TX; where he also attended school. At an early age he joined the United States Marine Corp. He served his country with honor in WWII and The Battle of Iwo Jima. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was highly dedicated to his family, his dog, Gizmo and his bird, Peaches. He always had a smile on his face and always knew the words to say to make you smile. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Jerry Lemo Pilgrim, Sr. and Alma Pilgrim; brothers, A.J. and Paul Pilgrim; great-great grandchildren Shawnee Walts and Adair Whitson. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Doris Pilgrim of Waco, TX; sister, Martha D. Gibson of Dublin, TX; daughters, Pauline Lary Kosar of Bosqueville, TX, Peggy Don Cooper of China Spring, TX, Annie Defoe and Donna Pilgrim both of Waco, TX; sons, Jerry Suki Pilgrim III of Harlingen, TX and Johnny Pam Pilgrim of McGregor, TX; 14 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
