Jerry W. Richard, 62, of Lorena passed away Monday, April 10, 2017. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 13, at Rosemound Cemetery, Waco, with Chaplain Danny Tomlinson officiating. The family will receive visitors 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd., Waco. Jerry was born on February 23, 1955, to Leonard and Hattie Richard in Waco. He was a graduate of University High School in 1973 and then married Donna Sharp on February 23, 1975. Jerry worked as a maintenance supervisor of manufacturing until his early retirement from ICS Jail Supply in September 2016. He was an avid fisherman belonging to the West Bass Club, as well as fishing various tournaments throughout Texas. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Andrew Kruger; younger brother, L.C.; and granddaughter, Laney. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Donna Richard; daughter, Shelli Richard; son, Jeremy Richard and wife, Elaine; mother-in-law, Irene Sharp; grandchildren, Derrick, Shelbi, Skylar and Kenzie; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
