Jesse Hobbs Day III

Jesse Hobbs Day, 74, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025. 

Burial services will take place at a future date at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas, where Jesse and his late wife, Sharon, will be laid to rest together. 

Jesse was born in Waco, Texas, January 22, 1951. He attended University High School, where he was actively involved in the band, playing the trumpet. Later, he worked as the Loss Prevention Specialist for CEFCO. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Hobbs Day Jr.; his mother, Georgia Derene Day; and his wife, Sharon Howard Day. 

Jesse is survived by his sisters, Dede Day, Robin Nelson, and Laurie Markovich; his children, Jay Day, Trace Day, and Amy Day Bell; his daughter-in-law, Jacki Day; his son-in-law, Parker Bell; his grandsons, Trace Flynn Day and Rhett Austin Day; and, lastly, his favorite dog, Buddy.
