Jessie Christine Appleby December 15, 1907 – March 10, 2006 Jessie Christine G.G. Appleby, passed away Friday, March 10, 2006 in McGregor, TX. A funeral service and celebration of her life will be held at the First Baptist Church of Eddy at 10:00 AM Monday, March 13, with Rev. Jim Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 3:30-5:00 PM Sunday, March 12, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Jessie was born December 15, 1907 to Samuel and Lela Taylor of Lorena. She lived her entire life in the Bruceville-Eddy area where she and her husband, William B. Appleby, were in the cattle and trucking business. She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Appleby in 1986, and her ten brothers and sisters: Lola Pearl, Verdie Lee, Bertha Odell, Homer Roy, Oscar Ray, James William, Lillian Frances, Hazel Marie, Mary Eva and Samuel Harold. Jessie is survived by her daughter, Louise Kincannon of Waco; one granddaughte, Sharon Fowler and husband, Marc of Waco; two great granddaughters, Katy Britt and husband, Lane of Waco, and Emily Offill and husband, Paul of Frisco, TX; and the three apples of her eye, great-great granddaughters, Delaney and Camille Britt of Waco and Katylu Offill of Frisco. She is also survived by numerous great nieces, nephews and extended family members. Pallbearers are Marc Fowler, Paul Offill, Lane Britt, Henry Lee Taylor, Ed Hudson and Keith Sale. G.G. was blessed during the last years of her life to have been cared for by the wonderful staff of Westview Manor Nursing Home. The family wishes to thank all of the nurses, assistants and Dr. Reynolds, who provided constant care and loving friendship to her.
