Jesus Romaldo Ortiz, Jr. December 8, 1970 - June 25, 2016 Jesus “Jesse” Romaldo Ortiz, Jr., 45, of Waco passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at a relative’s house. Jesse was born December 8, 1970, in Waco, Texas, to Jesus and Patricia Ortiz, Sr. He was a loving and devoted father and husband. He loved working with his hands, spending time outdoors, grilling and doing yard work. He had a playful personality and loved to have fun. Jesse was a prodigiously family-oriented man and was loved by all who truly knew him, especially his siblings and those close to him. He was much adored and will truly be missed. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Betty Sue Ortiz and grandparents, Romaldo and Hortencia Ortiz, and Ignacio and Mary Paz Vela. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Ortiz, Waco, TX; two daughters, Heather Davis and Patricia Ortiz; three brothers, Christopher, Isaac Ortiz and wife Lana, and Sebestian Ortiz; one sister, Soledad and husband David Urrabazo; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Central Credit Union for the Ortiz Children’s College Fund.
