Jimmie Lee Chandler November 15, 1928 – April 29, 2011 Jimmie Lee Chandler passed away Friday, April 29, 2011. Graveside services will be Monday, May 2, at 2 p.m. at Rosemound Cemetery, with Rev. Lori Cotton officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, May 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Jimmie was born on November 15, 1928, in Leon County to James L. and Eva Lee Moore. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to the love and care of her family. Jimmie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She always took such delight in spending time with family. She was so proud of her grandchildren and was their greatest champion. She was thrilled when she became a great-grandmother. She traveled with her husband and they often spent summers in Colorado, although her heart always remained in Waco. She was happiest spending time at home. Jimmie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jodie Moore; sisters, Lela Nichols and Merle Wilson; and husband Wade Chandler. She is survived by daughters, Lori Weaver, Phyllis Kelly and husband Jerry; grandchildren, Perry Weaver, Jade Andrews and husband Mike, Patrick Kelly and wife Courtney; one great-grandchild, Eva Jade Andrews; and several nieces and nephews. Momma died as she had lived, with quiet grace and dignity. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. The family would like to express our grateful appreciation for the many acts of kindness and support shown to Jimmie and her family. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in our "Memorial Guestbook" at www.WilkirsonHatchBailey.com. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
