Jimmie Eleanor Cobbs June 2, 1933 - January 2, 2013 Jimmie Cobbs of Woodway passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at her residence following a 10 year battle with multiple myeloma. To honor her life, there will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 5, at Bosqueville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Jimmie was born June 2, 1933 in Bosque County, TX to Raymond and Mamie Hurlock. She worked in the insurance business and was actively involved with the Insurance Women of Waco. She loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Boyd Cobbs. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Ladd and husband, Jud, Vicki Ayers and husband, Greg and Jean Christian and husband, Paul; and grandchildren, Caroline Goss, Katie Ladd, Andy Christian and Jennifer Ladd.
