Jocelyn Jo Adams Dockery

JOCELYN DOCKERY Jocelyn Jo Adams Dockery, age 84 of Waco, died Monday, September 20, 2004 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22 at Rosemound Cemetery with Pastor Drew Wilson officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Mrs. Dockery was born October 9, 1919, in Waco to George and Minnie Adams. She grew up in Brownsboro, Texas and moved back to Waco in 1941 with her husband. She was a homemaker, worked in retail for many years in Waco and was a longtime member of Park Lake Drive Baptist Church. Mrs. Dockery is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, S. Q. Dockery of Waco; daughters, Sharla Jean Woodruff and husband Eugene of Dallas and Deborah Kay Hail and husband Dennis of Austin; son, David Dockery and wife Darlene of Robinson; grandchildren, Denise Morgan, Phil Woodruff, Greg Woodruff, Michael Hail and Lindsay Hail; and nine great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kenny Morgan, Phil Woodruff, Greg Woodruff, Kris Morgan, Kory Morgan and Michael Hail. Memorials may be made to Park Lake Drive Baptist Church or a favorite charity.
