Joe Crook

CROOK, JOE Joe Ed Crook, 84 of Waco, died Monday, February 14, 2005 at a local hospital. Services will be at 2pm Friday, February 18 at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Mike Efird officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Thursday, February 17 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Mr. Crook was born February 22, 1920 in Mt. Calm, Texas to Roxie Crook. He married Lorraine Martin October 22, 1939 in Waco, she preceded him in death. Joe retired from Sears June of 1983 after 35 years of service. He was also preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and a son. Survivors include daughter Brenda Crook Walraven of Bellville; son Bruce Martin Crook of Waco; daughter-in-law Donna Lawson Crook of Mesquite; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
